A note on session costs - before we match you:

  • Counsellors  —  from £60 per session
  • CBT Therapists  —  from £80 per session
  • Psychologists  —  from £100 per session

Most people find meaningful progress happens over several sessions. To support consistency, we offer a small saving for people who choose to commit to a block of sessions with their therapist. Details of our commitment savings will be sent with your therapist recommendations.

Not sure which type of therapist is right for you? We'll help match you — but here's a quick guide to what makes each different:

Counsellors offer a safe, supportive space to talk through your feelings and experiences. They're well suited to life difficulties, relationship issues, grief, stress, and personal development - and tend to be the most accessible entry point into therapy.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) therapists use a structured, evidence-based approach to help you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. Particularly effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, and phobias. Sessions tend to be goal-focused with practical techniques to use between appointments.

Psychologists hold a doctoral-level qualification and are trained in both assessment and therapy. They work with more complex or long-standing mental health difficulties and can draw on a wider range of therapeutic approaches. Their higher fees reflect their extended training and the depth of work they're able to offer.
